When Will The Idol Season 2 Release?

There has been talk that The Idol has been cancelled. A post on the site Page Six reports that two anonymous sources close to the production have claimed that the series will not be returning for a second season and was always planned as a limited series only.

However, HBO has shown themselves and refuted these claims saying: “There have been erroneous reports that the decision for the second season of The Idol has already been made,” wrote the network. “Not yet, and we look forward to sharing the next episode with you on Sunday night.”

So, the fate of The Idol is still undecided and we may still see season 2 in the future. Only time will tell. I will update this article if any new information about the series comes out.
