Aaron Duran – Writer
Growing up with comics as a constant companion, Aaron never grew tired of the adventures found within those 23 magical pages. Writing about comics and the comics community for almost a decade on GeekintheCity.com, Aaron decided it was time to throw his hat into the industry he loves so much. La Brujería is his first comic book.
Aaron would like to thank his family for all of their support and for never once telling him to “stop reading those funny books.” An extra special thanks to Mom and Grandma for all of their bedtime stories that inspired this book. Also, thanks to his wife and partner, the lovely Jenn, for all of her support and stunning work on this book. And finally, to all his friends that kept telling to shut up and just write the damn thing already! Happy now?
James Sinclair – Artist
James Sinclair has been a comic book colorist for many years, working on such titles like Hellboy for Dark Horse Comics and The Flash for DC Comics. He never once forget his true passion, original art. Knowing that the transition would not be easy, James has spent the last few years working underground on material to refine his work. It’s been a long journey and La Brujería is only the beginning.
James would like to thank Courtney, Aaron, and Jenn for all of their support. Also, a heartfelt thanks to my family, friends, and to all the creators I’ve had the privilege to work with as a colorist. Over the years, I’ve learned more from all of you then I could ever imagine learning on my own.
Jennifer Alvin – Letterer
This is Jenn’s first foray into the comics, although she has spent her career providing creative and technical support in a variety of mediums. A self-described “crafty geek with a mad love for technology,” she was happy to put down her knitting needles for a while in order to join the La Brujería project.
Jenn would like to thank her friends and family for all of their support. Many thanks to James and her husband Aaron for giving her an opportunity to try her hand at something completely new.
